DESCRIPTION:\n\nHistorian Jim Craft will cover the history of the Chautauqu
 a Movement\, a popular and significant American movement in adult educatio
 n\, including the sociopolitical activities it was a part of and how it ch
 anged Michigan forever.\n\nAbout the Presenter:\n\nJim Craft is a career c
 onsultant and local historian. He does research\, writing\, and presentati
 ons at various venues around the country. He is currently working on a ser
 ies of booklets\, having completed two thus far: The Good Roads Movement\,
  1888-1926\, and New York's Burned-over District.\n\nThis program is part 
 of the 2023 Adult Summer Reading Program: All Together Now.\n\nThis progra
 m will be onsite in the Library’s Lower Level meeting room. Registration
