DESCRIPTION:Join us on either September 26\, September 28 or October 5\, 2
 025\, when over 100\,000 film lovers in over 250 cities across six contine
 nts gather in Cinemas\, Museums\, Libraries and Universities for one purpo
 se...to view and vote on the Finalists' Films in the 28th Annual MANHATTAN
  SHORT Film Festival.\n\nUpon entry\, festival attendees are handed a Voti
 ng Card and an Official Program. Attendees will view (10) short films and 
 will vote for the ONE Film and Actor they feel should win.  Votes are tal
 lied by each host venue then emailed to MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival’s 
 NYC headquarters.\n\nAll films selected will be eligible for an Oscar nomi
 nation. MANHATTAN SHORT does a full week's run in one Cinema in the county
  of Los Angeles. This theatre booking means every film selected as a Final
 ist in the 2025 MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival will be eligible to enter th
 e Oscars. MANHATTAN SHORT is now in compliance with the rules governing th
 e Oscar Awards set forth by the Academy of Motion Pictures of Arts and Sci
 ences. A.M.P.A.S.\n\nMANHATTAN SHORT films have been to the Oscars before!
   Last year from the ten selected finalists\, four shorts were short-list
 ed and two nominated for Oscar\, which included the overall winner for bes
 t live action "I'm Not a Robot".  Once a nominee is announced\, our partn
 ering cinemas and loyal audiences champion those films and filmmakers thro
 ugh social media all the way to the podium!\n\nThis program will be repeat
 ed on Sunday\, September 28\, 2:00 p.m. and on Sunday\, October 5 at 2:00 
 p.m.   This program will last approximately 2.5 hours with a 10-minute i
 ntermission. You will view 10 short films.  This program is for adults.
