DESCRIPTION:\n\nJoin Regina Hamlett for this fun lavender sugar scrub work
 shop.  Learn about the farm\, growing lavender\, and the benefits of usin
 g lavender products. This is a make-n-take program.  Make a lavender suga
 r scrub that is great for exfoliating and nourishing your skin. This is a 
 make-n-take program so space is limited.  Registration is mandatory (age 
 18+ only please)\n\nPlease register online at the Library’s Events Calen
 dar\, at the Adult Service desk or call the library at 734-426-4477. This 
 program will be in the Library’s Lower Level meeting room.\n\nAbout Haml
 ett Lavender Farm:\n\nStarted in 2015\, Hamlett Lavender Farm was establis
 hed when two grandparents\, one mom\, and four teenage girls all started o
 n an adventure in Dexter Township\, Michigan! Debra Smith and Regina Ham
 lett are a mother/daughter team who started the farm together. Since then
 \, Debra has retired\, but is still making the handmade lavender Bath/Body
  products in her lavender Lab on the farm. Regina and her husband Marty 
 have taken over all operations and are very excited about this year\, as t
 hey expand the farm.\n\nThis program is part of the 2023 Adult Summer Read
 ing Program: All Together Now.\n\nThis program will be onsite in the Libra
 ry’s Lower Level meeting room. Registration is required. Scroll down to
