DESCRIPTION:\n\nElder Financial Abuse is a major issue in our society.  Mo
 re than 369\,000 scams and financial abuse cases targeting the elderly are
  reported to the authorities every year.  Most experts agree that that nu
 mber is just a slice of the full scope.  Many senior citizens are being t
 aken advantage of\, and they don’t even know it!\n\nTeresa Beegle\, the 
 Compliance Officer for the Chelsea State Bank\, will be presenting this in
 formation only class to bring awareness to this problem and to answer your
  questions. The class will cover Elder Abuse topics\, as well as other cur
 rent trends in fraud happening right here in our very own community. Learn
  how to spot the signs of elder abuse\, and what to do if you or someone y
 ou know is being taken advantage of. Scams regarding romance\, grandchildr
 en\, Social Security\, Internet fraud\, lottery scams\, and more will also
  be covered. There will be plenty of time for Q &amp\; A.\n\nAbout the pre
 senter:\n\nTeresa Beegle\, is the Compliance Officer for Chelsea State Ban
 k. She has 6 years banking experience\, 5 of which involve investigating a
 nd mitigating fraud for customers. Teresa is a Certified Community Bank Co
 mpliance Officer and is AARP BankSafe Certified to identify elder abuse.\n
