SUMMARY:Cut the Cord: Cable TV Alternatives
DESCRIPTION:\nPlease note:  This class will be held in the Library’s low
 er level.\nAre you tired of paying top dollar for underwhelming cable TV s
 ervice?  Join us for a discussion of over the air antennas and live cable
  TV alternatives such as SlingTV\, Hulu Live TV\, and DirectTV Stream.  S
 treaming content libraries such as Netflix\, HBOMax\, Disney+\, and Amazon
  Prime Video will also be covered.\n\nDuring the winter of 2022\, the Dext
 er District Library will require registration for all indoor\, in-person p
 rograms.  Registrants will need to register all members of their party. 
  During this time\, only pre-registered attendees will be seated.  To pro
 vide for adequate social distancing\, the Library will need to limit the n
 umber of in-person attendees at each program.  Past attendance patterns 
 for in-person events would frequently exceed current COVID-19 capacity lim
 its.  Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.  The Library will continue to mon
 itor COVID-19 conditions and the Library Board will review these requireme
 nts on a monthly basis.\n\nDue to the persistence of the COVID-19 virus an
 d the advent of the omicron variant\, all attendees at in person programs\
 , who can medically tolerate a face covering\, will be required to wear fa
 ce coverings.
