  pieces of architecture have saved countless lives.\n\nJoin historian Andr
 ew Kercher to find out more about these vitally important and beautiful la
 ndmarks.  Hear stories of ever-changing technology\, government corruptio
 n\, German saboteurs and lifesaving rescues!\n\nAbout the presenter:\n\nAn
 drew Kercher has a degree in history and Philosophy from Albion College 
 and a MS in Historic Preservation from EMU. He has worked at museums arou
 nd the state\, living in the Straits of Mackinac for nearly a decade. He i
 s currently the Community Engagement Manager in his home town of Port Huro
 n where he lives with his wife and two wonderful cats\, Gilbert and Sulliv
 an. When not talking about history\, he can usually be found working on hi
 s 1958 Packard or antique firearm collection.\n\nThis program will be onsi
